I am not trying to create a man V/S women divide. What I observe happening is in most of the families man is the breadwinner of the family. He is the one who brings in the financial resources and infrastructure assets. Therefore it is observed that most of the decisions around money and infrastructure are taken by men. Are women so dumb or inadequate or incapable that whoever earns the money also can have the authority to make the decisions? It is naturally coded in our minds that softer roles like nurturing, caring, cooking, and cleaning are the domain of women.
