An Evocation to Travel
There are some people who say I am very happy in my own
home and home is what gives me comfort, security and peace.
However, there are some people who feel that the home is
too boring and it is very important to come out and explore out and explore the outside world.
What I believe is that travel gives you not only places
to see but a whole experience of relating to other people, Their cultures and
other professions of life.
If one is really interested or excited about travel costs
can be minimized by looking for cheaper options, guest houses, homestays, or
experiments in international living.
Travel gives you a much larger perspective of other
cultures other people and their heritage. Small things like cattle on the
roads or beggars on the streets may touch the contrast of the western traveler
whereas the highly merchandised system-driven world may touch the feeling of
the eastern traveler.
If we compare the east and the west to each other I
would also like to explore and experience cultures like China, Japan, and
Indonesia.
People who are stuck with wanting fancy facilities and
five-star accommodations will only go to the west where there is more technical
modernization but less cultural infrastructure.
If one has to be a holistic person in life it is
important to experience all kinds of cultures the east and the west so that you
become a person with a holistic and macro perspective in life. Otherwise, you
remain a person with limited perspective and limited experience of life.
When one travels it is important not only to see the
modern process of an advanced country but also the culture and heritage and
tribes that they have evolved from.
Every country would have its own tribes and heritage that have evolved into a modern system.
What is the process of evolution that has gone into the modernization of some civilizations whereas some had made the choice to retain
their own history and mythology as a showcase to the world?
If we talk of Greece or Egypt they are ideal examples
of what they want to showcase to the world about their history, heritage, and
mythological symbols.
If one has to be interested in the evolution of the world it is important to read about them and see them in movies but personally visit such places which are extremely interesting exciting and evoking.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteRecently, I watched a film on Netflix, Death on the Nile - based on the novel- a detective fiction by British writer Agatha Christie.
Saw a slice of Egypt and Nile in that.
Travelling - yes - a potential tool to promote tolerance and mutual respect.
There is another travel that I got introduced to, in 2016, when I attended the Landmark Worldwide course (basic). Travelling within. I found that the terrain within me is untreaded, dark and unknown. The journey continues and the destination is distant. But the travel is rewarding. There are breakthroughs and breakdowns.
